Terms of Service

Effective date: 4 February 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Oakline Doors Shop website and the purchase of goods and related services from us. Please read them carefully. If you have any questions, contact us before placing an order.

2. Using our website

You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You must not attempt to disrupt the site, access areas you are not authorised to access, or use the site to send misleading, abusive, or spam messages.

3. Quotes and product information

Any information on the site is provided in good faith. Product images are illustrative and finishes can vary due to lighting and screen settings. Quotes provided by us are valid for the period stated in the quote. If no period is stated, quotes are typically valid for 14 days, subject to stock availability and supplier changes.

4. Orders and formation of contract

A contract is formed when we confirm acceptance of your order in writing. We may ask you to confirm measurements and specifications before accepting the order, particularly for door sets, performance doors, and any made-to-order items.

5. Prices and payment

Prices are provided in GBP unless otherwise stated. Delivery costs and any additional services will be specified in your quote or order confirmation. Payment terms will be confirmed at the time of order. If a pricing error occurs, we will contact you and you may choose to proceed at the corrected price or cancel.

6. Delivery

Delivery timeframes are estimates and depend on stock, location, and carrier scheduling. You are responsible for ensuring safe access for delivery and for checking that goods can be brought into the property. Risk passes to you upon delivery. Please inspect goods on arrival and notify us promptly of any visible damage.

7. Cancellations and returns

If you are a consumer in the UK, you may have rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations for distance sales. However, some items may be exempt from cancellation rights, including made-to-order or personalised goods (for example, special sizes or bespoke finishes). We will confirm whether an item is made-to-order before acceptance.

Where returns are accepted, items must be unused, in resalable condition, and returned in original packaging where possible. Return shipping costs may apply unless the goods are faulty or not as described.

8. Faulty goods and your statutory rights

Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights under UK consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If goods are faulty or not as described, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, price reduction, or refund depending on the circumstances.

9. Installation and suitability

Any installation guidance we provide is general information. Installation should be carried out by a competent person. Building regulations and performance requirements may apply to certain doors (for example, fire-rated doors). You are responsible for ensuring that the selected products are appropriate for your property and requirements. If you are unsure, ask for a compatibility check before ordering.

10. Warranties

Some products may include a manufacturer warranty. Warranty terms vary and may depend on correct installation, correct hardware, and proper maintenance. If a warranty applies, we will provide the relevant terms with your order confirmation or on request.

11. Limitation of liability

We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation. Subject to this, we are not liable for indirect losses such as loss of profit, loss of business, or loss of opportunity. Our total liability for foreseeable loss arising from a contract will be limited to the amount paid for the relevant goods or services.

12. Intellectual property

Website content, branding, and layout are owned by or licensed to Oakline Doors Shop. You may view and print pages for personal use, but you must not reproduce or distribute site content for commercial purposes without permission.

13. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data and cookie preferences.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates apply from the effective date shown at the top of this page. If you have an existing order, the terms in place at the time of order confirmation will apply to that order.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, except where mandatory local consumer laws apply.
